Why should your son join Cub Scouts?
When our boys are faced with the most dangerous choices in their lives -- drugs, sex or criminal activity -- chances are you, as parents, will not be present to help them in making the right choice. The only influences you will have are the values, ethics and resolve to "walk a higher path" that you and scouting have instilled in the hearts and minds of our young men.
Scouting can make the difference between a future of mediocrity and a future of greatness.

Normandy Knights Pack MeetingDon't miss the May 9 Pack meeting. We will meet outside on the playground. Setup will start at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting will start at 6:00. Den 7 will perform a skit, we will have costumes, great games, and our den families will picnic on finger foods.
|
Pack Service Project - Normandy Clean-Up DayJoin us in our annual service project for our host school. We will be tidying up the grounds before Field Days. We will sweep gravel off the blacktop, sweep the sidewalk around the parking lot, rake pine needles on the lawn, pull weeds, power wash the dumpster area, trim trees and shrubs as needed, and tackle any other work we have time to do.
Bring WATER, your gloves, rakes, brooms, shovels, trash bags, and any other tools you may need. A wheelbarrow or two would be helpful. Our Pack and most of our Dens meet at the school, so come and help us give something back to Normandy Elementary School.

Magness Summer Camp Shoot BB guns, try archery, throw tomahawks, swim, canoe, have fun! Registration is now open for Magness Summer Camp and the one-day Trailblazer Adventure Camp in May. Adventure Camp is a 1-day chance to see Magness (May 17, 2008). Magness is a 3-day, 2-night summer camp for boys and their adult partners. Talk to your den members and start thinking about dates now - sessions fill up quickly.
